We are seeking a Purchasing Agent / Buyer within our Strategic Sourcing Department. The primary responsibility of this position will be to the purchasing of all materials and components for assigned product category team.
Successful candidates will have a Bachelors Degree in related field, Supply Chain Management degree preferred, and 3+ years of procurement experience. Extensive knowledge of ERP / MRP systems and critical analysis capabilities will be required. Experience in managing multiple cross-functional projects in a fast-paced business environment is essential.
Additional skill requirements include:
- Proven negotiation and expediting skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication.
- Ability to interpret financial data and engineering drawings.
