Qualifications: Forecast Analyst needed for growing national distributor/manufacturer of building materials. Candidate will use logical and systematic approach to analyze sales and operations data to drive material forecasting processes. Responsible for improving accuracy to minimize inventory levels while supporting company fill rate objectives. Bachelors degree in related field with minimum 3 5 years relevant experience required

Duties:
Forecasting, Inventory Control, Replenishment
S&OP processes
Forecasting for multi-location distribution and/or manufacturing company
Forecasting analytical methods
Forecasting with long lead time requirements
Cross-functional investigation of materials variances
MRP system; SAP preferred.
Excel Power User skills and strong relevant software/technology/pc skills
Equivalent combination of education and relevant professional experiences may be considered

Reporting to the Procurement Director., this position interfaces directly with Sales and Regional VP team, Finance, Procurement team and Product Managers to interpret forecasting trends and variance analysis. Position requires effective oral and written communication skills and ability with all levels of the team.
