APICS 2010 Great Lakes District Student Case Competition
The 15th Annual Student Case Competition and District Meeting will be held on February 19 and 20, 2010 in the Chicago Area.
The Annual Student Case Competition is conducted yearly by the Great Lakes District. Student are presented a case, dealing with a manufacturing, supply chain or operations issue around 9 pm on Friday night. A 3 page paper, outlining their recommendations to solve the case and PowerPoint slides to use in a 5 minute presentation are due at 10:30 Saturday morning. Papers are judged starting at 10:30 am by one set of judges. Presentations, which start right after lunch, are judged by another set of judges. Both scores are reconciled to determine the winning team. All teams leave with a cash prize for their student chapter account. This years event will be limited to 30 teams.
